I create rooms you never want to leave. Your home should be a comforting, relaxing space that provides functionality to your lifestyle. It should reflect the people that live within its walls. Let’s make your house, home!

After many years and requests to offer custom design services, I’m happy to announce I’ll be opening my books for January 2021. I’ll be incorporating my style with yours, along with my system, techniques, experience, and design programming.

If I don’t think our styles align enough, I’ll be upfront with you! We will discuss your project prior to booking to ensure we make a good pair.

I want your space to be an authentic representation of you and your family. My goal is to help you curate a one-of-a-kind room that suits your budget and brings you joy for years to come!

Summer Tablescape

Summer Tablescape

I recently freshened up the kitchen table with a new centerpiece. I try to change it up seasonally with things we have around the house. I ended up reusing a few items that were already there like the garden tray and beaded garland. Another item I use often instead of runners are calf hides! The give a more rustic feel and are easy to clean. The "vase" was an old crock I had in the cabinet with a $10 grocery store bouquet. I love having fresh flowers in the house all summer. Most of the time we pick wild flowers but I couldn't pass up these pretty blooms. I splurged on a new candle the other day and the adorable Brahma shakers are from one of my favorite thrift sites, Single Wide Style. The frame is from my store and the sheds Zack brought home after spraying in the tractor a few weeks ago. I love when we finds me things like that. It doesn't take a lot to give a space a fresh new...

Our Master Bedroom

Our Master Bedroom

I'm excited to finally share our master bedroom with you all! Of course, there are still some things I'd like to change over time (like planking the walls and new trim) but I love how it is for now. I'll link everything below! If you share to Pinterest, please tag and give proper credit. This was one of my first Farm Girl Home Design Projects before I start taking on clients. I needed to build up a portfolio of some different rooms and decided, why not my own? I'm a big neutral girl so everything has a pretty calm tone with a few pops of color. It makes adding things easy when the color pallet isn't all over the place. Our headboard was custom made and a Christmas gift about 5 years ago. The brand pillow was from my store when we started making them about 6 years ago but we no longer offer them. I've had these floating boot shelves for over 5 years now in this evolving corner but I...

Farm Girl Dressing Room/Bathroom Project

Farm Girl Dressing Room/Bathroom Project

Hey there! I'm excited to share one of my first Farm Girl Home Design projects I've been able to do this year. Even though it wasn't for a client but for our store, I enjoyed this blank canvas! The colors, fixtures, and vanity were already picked out but I had free reign on the decorating and had a lot of fun with it. We share this space in the market and it also has to serve a dual purpose as our bathroom and dressing room. I wanted a cowgirl chic feel and I think I accomplished that goal. It's very feminine and hope that it feels like a fun place to try on clothing. I wanted to use most of what we sell in the store so our customers could see how to use it in their own spaces. The bunkhouse coat rack is a favorite in our home decor line and is used to hang try on items. Another goal of mine in this area was to make it feel like home, cozy, and beautiful. I found this gorgeous vase at...

My Vanity Area

My Vanity Area

Today I'm excited to show you my small vanity area that I created in our master bedroom. This was a fun little project I enjoyed piecing together. I've been wanting a spot to get ready at for sometime that was also functional and didn't take up much space. Our bedroom is good size but I didn't want to have a large piece of furniture that cluttered up the room, however this wall was completely bare and needed something. I put it next to my tall jewelry box so the area would flow together. That's why you'll see a couple of extra links for a few items you might not see in the photos like my dried bouquet. The mirror is sitting on the vanity but is anchored at the top to the wall, perfect for the stool height. This also serves as my desk most of the time when I'm home but I love this small set up and inspires me to fix up more. The two drawers are simple and I added these clear trays to...

Beddy’s

Beddy’s

I literally squealed when I got the email about partnering with Beddy's. I've been eyeing these for the girl's shared bedroom and they are game changers when it comes to bed making. Since they both share a room, it's pretty tight quarters with two twin beds and not the easiest space for them to make it back each morning. I love this company because there is nothing like it on the market. Each set is all one piece! Yes, sheet, blanket, AND comforter that goes on the bed like a fitted sheet. You also get a sham and coordinating pillow case. The all-in-one feature makes it so easy to put on, make, and wash. The quality is impeccable and my girls love the independence of getting to make their beds without needing help. Also to mention, they LOVE the comfort. Each set has a sturdy zipper on either side that makes it easy and smooth for a kid to zip it up. We chose the Vintage Blush set but...

Paisley + Scout’s Cowgal Bedroom Tour

Paisley + Scout’s Cowgal Bedroom Tour

This post is long overdue as I've had one of my favorite home projects finished up for over a year now. I thought today would be the perfect time to share their room as I was asked to be this week's feature with #thisishowiwestern on Instagram. As a mama to two girls, I couldn't wait for the day that they would get to share a room. Built in best friends, lots of bonding (let's be real, arguing too), giggles, and fun has been had in this sweet little space and it's easily my favorite room in the house. This room was previously Scout's nursery and when it was time for her to leave the crib, we decided to move the girls in together and turn Paisley's room into the play room. (post coming soon) Our home is small and so are the rooms so my main goal was to make it as functional as possible while incorporating their style/personalities within these four walls. Our little ladies are cowgals...
