I recently freshened up the kitchen table with a new centerpiece. I try to change it up seasonally with things we have around the house. I ended up reusing a few items that were already there like the garden tray and beaded garland. Another item I use often instead of runners are calf hides! The give a more rustic feel and are easy to clean.

The “vase” was an old crock I had in the cabinet with a $10 grocery store bouquet. I love having fresh flowers in the house all summer. Most of the time we pick wild flowers but I couldn’t pass up these pretty blooms. I splurged on a new candle the other day and the adorable Brahma shakers are from one of my favorite thrift sites, Single Wide Style. The frame is from my store and the sheds Zack brought home after spraying in the tractor a few weeks ago. I love when we finds me things like that.

It doesn’t take a lot to give a space a fresh new look!
