Sharing one of my favorite go-to Hayfield Meal hacks for my farmer. I love to make these for myself as well. These have been nice to prep on Sundays for his week. I simply cook all of my chicken or whatever meat we want in these in the Instant Pot. Then I prep all of my, jars, dressings and veggies and assemble the salads. They make meal prepping a dream and the quickest grab and go lunch!
Zack likes being able to grab these, throw them in his cooler, and head off to the hayfield knowing he’s going to have a nutritious and filling lunch that won’t make him feel crummy sitting in the tractor all day. I just pack a bowl in his bag to dump it into if he doesn’t want to shake and pick through the jar. Feel free to swap ingredients out as you please. I love to change them up here and there with different dressings, veggies, and meat. My favorite dressing? Salsa! The options are endless for these.
