7 years ago I walked down the isle to this man and promised forever. We’ve made a pretty beautiful life together, went on some fun adventures, and walked through some pretty hard things but with the help of God, have always made it through. I’m so proud and thankful to be your wife.

5 years have come and gone. This day we promised each other forever. We’ve gone through so much in the last 5 years. Sickness, health, death, good times, hard times, moving, babies, new jobs, and what a journey it’s been. You’re my safe place to land, my best friend, and I’m forever grateful God gave you to me.
I truly love you with all that I have and am thankful that you are my husband. I can’t wait to see where life takes us in the next 5, 10, 25 and 50+ years. I cherish everyday and love this life we’ve built from the ground up.

Wednesday night, Zack and I snuck off to celebrate our anniversary at Southwind Hills. I had a Pursuit Group there months back and completely fell in love with the place. They just opened up a little cottage not too long ago and when I saw the ad on Facebook I booked it on a whim. They usually have it on the weekends for couples who get married but they also book it during the week to the public. We were their first weekday couple. Christmas season is such a stressful + busy time at the store, not to mention Zack is almost finished with fire school and applying for a job. We don’t see much of each other lately and to say we needed some “us” time is an understatement. 
The cottage is nestled off away from their wedding venue in a wooded area. Seriously so gorgeous. I won’t ramble on too long and let the photos speak for themselves. The vision I have for my home would seriously be decorated like this space. Wood planks, white walls, chandeliers, rustic meets glam. 
Hello Pioneer Woman dishes. I ordered these last week and actually got to test them out here. Cannot wait to have them in our house.
Before we left I took hubby up for a tour of the barn. We spent the rest of the day enjoying each other in Norman. Lunch was at a favorite spot we frequent, we finished up our Christmas shopping, and had kid free conversations. It was the perfect day with my man.
