I understand this doesn’t necessarily require a written recipe but have you actually seen how many recipes there are for avocado toast? I had no idea. HA! So I just wanted to pop in and share my favorite way and a variation or two to change it up.
Ingredients
- 1 slice sourdough bread
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 tsp lime juice
- pepper and salt to taste
- drizzle olive oil
- flaky Maldon sea salt
- fresh cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Toast your sourdough bread.
- Mash avocado in a bowl with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Spread avocado mixture on toasted bread. Drizzle on olive oil and sprinkle on flaked sea salt and cracked black pepper.
I also like omitting the olive oil and topping with some scrambled eggs and salsa.
