Sunday Morning Cinnamon French Toast Casserole

This is such an easy recipe that is a delicious treat to feed a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 12 slices texas toast
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 splash Mexican vanilla
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Crumble Topping

  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon or more if desired
  • 1 stick butter melted

Garnish

  • maple syrup
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375.
  • Grease a 9 x 13" baking dish.
  • Slice bread into quarters and place into dish. I just ripped mine for a more rustic look.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon together. Pour the mixture over the bread and place in the refrigerator to soak for 30 minutes.
  • Make crumble mixture and when the time is up, pour over the bread mixture.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until it is completely done.
  • Drizzle maple sugar and sprinkle powdered sugar over the top.
