A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was create
Organization is sort of my thing. I’ve been trying to take an area at a time, making our home more functional. This summer I completely organized my spice cabinet, oils, and baking ingredients and it has made cooking so much easier (and enjoyable.) This might seem like a small task but it was a bit of an undertaking at first.
This set of spice jars and labels are what I used and it came with everything I needed as far as the jar, lid, topper, label, and even the funnel. I’ve also linked another style I like at the end of this post. I used these shelves to tier them in my cabinet next to our stove, making it easier to find spices when I’m cooking. I also love those you can stack in a kitchen drawer.
I also bought glass canisters for all of my other ingredients that have a tight seal so air doesn’t get in. In my cabinet I have things like sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, chocolate chips, nuts, etc. that are close by but I also have bulk storage for some of those items in large containers in our pantry.
I can’t stress enough to invest in good spices and ingredients. The payoff is worth it. I buy most of my dry goods from our local Amish store.
I hope this inspires and helps you! If you have any questions, please send them my way. You can see a complete list of my amazon favorites on my storefront here.
