Last Friday, my friend Aubrey and I took our kiddos to a children’s museum for a little play date. Paisley was so excited for a mommy and me day and we had a blast letting the kids run wild. I used to go here when I was her age and it was so neat to see some of the things that have stayed the same and those that have changed.
The grocery section was probably Paisley’s favorite. She is such a little momma and thought it was pretty neat that they had a grocery store for her size.
I love that they have so many neat sections for the kids to play in. You can litterally let them run free without worry of them breaking anything which is awesome. Creed and Paisley loved the air and light up stations. And then of course we had to go to the doctor and nurse area and play babies. I love that she calls stethoscopes “listening hearts.”
Then it was bubbles, fire station slides and fire trucks, and animated dinosaurs.
We played on the playground and took a ride on the choo choo train which was probably her favorite part of the whole trip. She is in love with trains right now {Polar Express obsessed} and wants to ride everyone we see.
It was a much needed day out for all of us and I can’t wait to take her again. I say this about every stage but this one has been the best.
Oh my goodness, what a fun children’s museum. I guess we have one here in Portland but I haven’t been to it to see if it’s good or not. I’m excited for Caleb to get older so I can take him.
It is a blast and such a cheap day date!
