This weekend, one of the ministries in our group essay had their second annual Daddy/Daughter dance. I was SO excited that Paisley and Zack were able to go this year. We have been planning for weeks and she’s asked me daily if “today” was her date with Daddy. :) Our church really stresses the imporatnce of father figures in girls lives and teaching them how they should be treated. I love this concept and am so thankful that Paisley’s future spouse has so much to live up to. :) I couldn’t pick a better daddy for our girls.

We bought her dress on our getaway weekend last week and the shoes were a steal and on sale! :) Early Saturday morning, her and I picked up her corsage at a local greenhouse and had lunch while daddy cleaned up their carriage for the night. I curled her hair “like Rapunzel” by request and her headband didn’t make it too long so we had to settle for a glittered clip. She had so much fun getting all dolled up and putting on lips {lip gloss}.

We only had time to snap a few photos so they could go off to dinner.
This photo melts me.

She was so excited that she got to ride in the Mustang to the ball. :)
I cried as soon as they pulled out of the driveway.
Hubs sent me some photos from their night. I love that they had so much fun. :)
I am so thankful for our church who realizes the importance of “dating” our kids and putting on events like this.
Memories to last a lifetime.

My heart is a big ole puddle of mush right now! How sweet are the two of them. Oh, Kenzie, seriously this is the most precious thing ever!
It was the sweetest and most perfect day. SO thankful for both of them. :)
This absolutely melts my heart. What a great father. I think it’s really important for parents, especially girls, to grow up with loving, respectful parents. ‘Cause when they’re dating, whether they realize it or not, they usually go for someone just like their father.
Anyway, great post!
Thank you so much! :)
