A Month To Go

July 10, 2013

10 Jul
writing an informative essay
That, my friends, is some drywall!
You know you are old when you get excited about a piece of wall attached to some wood.

We are about a month {or a little less} away from being in our home. I do a little happy dance every time we go over there to check out the progress. It is like Christmas in July, but a little better. Our builder will bed and tape soon, texture, we will paint, and so on.

TO DO LIST
1. Pick out paint colors.
2. Order light fixtures and ceiling fans.
3. Stain the floors.
4. Hook up electric and run water to the house.
5. And like 5 million other things.

So excited to be so close! This definitely has been trialing and a long journey but we are so proud of it and are so thankful and blessed!

I think I am good on home building for awhile.

Well you already know this, but I love that darned view. Living in the city, we don’t see much of that!

Instagram post 2156776953307645382_20205771 We lost our beautiful girl, Rose and I’m just sick about it. My dad found her dead this morning as she’d been attacked by a pack of coyotes along with her calf. This girl was more than just Paisley’s cow. She brought me so much inspiration. She created a lot of business for me. Was my logo, t-shirt line, and produced several babies for us to raise and sell. It’s a big loss but we are thankful for her. My dad traded out some work on a tailgate with another fellow rancher for her several years ago when she was a calf and she’s been one of the absolute best mommas. We love and will miss you sweet girl. #rafterpsranch
