I’ve always been a reader and when my oldest started to take interest, I was thrilled! One of Paisley and I’s favorite things to do is to curl up under a blanket and dive into a good book. It’s been fun re-reading some of my old favorites as well as the classics. Scout is starting to get into some younger series like Hank the Cowdog and those usually make us belly laugh to tears. If you haven’t listened to the podcast, it’s a must!

I wanted to share just a few favorite chapter books of ours. Most we’ve already read but some are also on our list. We stated reading one chapter book out loud together this year and it’s been so fun and something I look forward to doing with the girls.

I plan to share a few “themed book” posts later this year but this is a good start to adding some greats you’ll want in your home library. We also have checked several of these out and returned too.
