This weekend was slow and sweet. Zack worked at the station so the girls and I spent our morning playing and giggling at our Scout girl. She learned how to strip her diaper and roam “free” around the house. It was hilarious and she was quite proud of herself. That afternoon, we went “junking” at my in-laws new building. They bought this space filled to the brim of old stuff. You can check them out on facebook here. Paisley thought it was so much fun to “treasure hunt.” That girl can find anything Toy Story related. Seriously. Out of everything she managed to dig up a story book and the toy car from the first movie. Guess what we came home with? Yep. Woody, Jessie, and Buzz will have something to ride when we get home. LOLIf I could afford these mustard antique beauties, they would have went home with me. THE BEST Junk Gypsy Paint project and I’ve been dying to paint more fabric since my last piece.I did come home with this load. The western art are actually post cards. SO cool. I am going to frame a couple of them. The old road maps are for a fun project I have planned. I squealed when I found the old cans. Hello new cactus and succulent planters. <3 And that mug. So fun. I’d love to know the stories and history it would tell over many cups of coffee. I also snagged several old records for $2 each, including a Patsy Cline and George Strait Christmas album for Farm Girl. SCORE!Sunday our life group met for the first time all summer and it was so nice to get together with everyone. We’ve missed them! Zack and I ended the evening watching our new show - Chicago Fire. We finally finished season 1 and are on to 2. We always jump into shows late in the game but it’s nice to be able to watch however many we want.
I hope your week is off to a great start!
