My mom and I just got back from a short little trip to Denver Market – WESA. It was our first time to go to another market other than Dallas and was quite an experience. We bought a lot for this fall and I can’t wait for Farm Girl to debut new lines – get excited for DENIM! This market was a lot smaller than Dallas so it was much easier to shop. We flew out early to beat the storms in Okie land and left Denver early to beat that snow storm. Can we all just be done with winter already? After Christmas I’m ready for sunshine and flowers.
This was my second time to go to Denver. The altitude messed with me quite a bit but it’s such a beautiful place. Our first night we had dinner and went to the PRCA rodeo. The next two days were full of shopping. We Uber’d (is that a word?) for the first time (we do not have fancy transportation such as Uber in southern Oklahoma) and it was quite an adventure to say the least. I’ll just say 75% of it was an o.k. experience. There were a couple of times I thought our drivers might take us to the mountains and leave us for the wolves. Definitely a culture shock from where we are from but was neat to have drivers meet us from the request of my phone. And much cheaper than a cab! I think we spent more money on rides than we did anything else. By the third day I was ready to get home to my hubby and babies. It was fun and a good market for us. We will for sure come back next year and will be more prepared than we were this trip. Keep up with Farm Girl on social media for new arrivals and you can always shop online at farmgirlboutique.com
