I am so excited to post about our April Pursuit gathering. If you are new to this blog, the great gatsby book report essay is a group of creatives (a lot of photographers) who are small business owners and have a heart for the Lord. We meet once a month and it’s really refreshing for me to get away and have some girl time. We talk a lot about business, family, kids, Jesus, and enjoy a lot of laughs and good conversation. This year, our monthly gatherings are decided and planned by different people in our group and I was able to be the one to plan April. I found The Plant Shoppe some time ago and have been dying to attend a workshop. It is a sweet little creative space for those who love to #dirtythemhands and de-stress. Honestly, I’m not sure what’s more therapeutic. Digging in the dirt or going to the spa? #dirtprobablywinsWe made DIY terrariums and learned a lot about succulents which, along with cacti, are my absolute favorite.
Jen is the owner and was incredibly sweet as well as great to work with. I love how much heart she has for this place. It’s such a unique business. I was telling her that I would be over the moon to have something like this where we live. It was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to go back. She had some plants for sale and does a lot of pop up markets/special occasion deliveries. If you are ever in the OKC area, stop in!
