Our little cowgirl wanted to make a horse Valentine box for her class party this year. We had fun putting it together. It’s a little more challenging than I thought but was super fun and you can definitely tell its homemade. Mama isn’t too savvy on crafts.
We wrapped a shoe box in construction paper and slit a hole at the top. Then we wrapped a small square box in paper and attached it to the lid of the box so it would still be able to come off. Next, we cut out spots and outlined them in gold glitter since she wanted a paint horse. Then we hot glued ripped strands of material and a little bit of glitter fringe for the mane and tail. We added her and her sisters cattle brand to his hip, cut out ears and nostrils, added google eyes and drew on lashes. It was a fun project and she was so proud of it. Being a school mom is so much fun!
