dbq essaysThis weekend Zack and I took the girls for some fall fun. We drove up to OKC for the day and made our first stop at Myriad Botanical Gardens Pumpkinville. We’ve never been before and it was really neat. They had the entire thing was decorated in storybook theme, lots of things for kids to play and climb on, pumpkins to buy, trails to walk through, etc. Then we drove the girls to Moore to visit the Orr Family Farm. It was super busy because it was a weekend but a lot of neat things to keep the kids busy. I think it was Paisley’s favorite place of the entire trip and Scout enjoyed their chocolate chip cookies. It was a great weekend. Fall, could you just stay forever?
Starting backwards with our little weekend recap. I feel like we have been going non stop (we have) and this was a much needed unwinding weekend for all of us. Yesterday was our Church’s annual Fallapalooza. We all get together at a local Ranch/Pumpkin patch for barn games, petting zoo, pumpkin picking, inflatables, and fellowship. It’s always a blast and the girls had fun. We walked around with some friends and watched the kids play. Scout loved using their wagon and we chased Paisley and their little boy around. Those baby blues melt me.Saturday the hubby and I went to watch the Cowboys play TCU. Pretty proud of our 9-0 team. Go Pokes! Also? My husband is such a hunk and so much fun to be around. After leaving the game, we usually park in some college kids yard to help pay for their months rent. While leaving, not naming any names, s o m e o n e, got us stuck and we had to wait an hour for a tow truck. I kept reminding him God was showing us we weren’t supposed to be on the road. We laughed about it later over a glass of wine and bread sticks at Olive Garden. There isn’t much else you can do about it right? :)Friday night I went to my bestie’s new home and we painted some furniture. And talked until one in the morning. We have a knack for doing that and I love it. In other news, this sweet girl rolled over this week and is pretty proud of herself. Time is flying and I’ve been soaking in every second.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and have a productive week.
Our entry is pretty much our living room so I like to “make” it look like an entry to separate the room a little bit. It’s one of my favorite small areas to decorate. I just want to snap a couple of pictures of our fall decor this year in this space.Sources
