I watched this video today and it was such an eye opener for me.
We are our own worst critic.
We always find something that is “wrong” with our bodies.
We never see ourselves in others eyes.
We don’t embrace our true beauty.
We don’t embrace that we were made in God’s own image.
When it comes to my body, I am very insecure.
It isn’t something that I am proud of and I always feel like I am constantly nagging at myself.
Which I am.
My prayer for this week is to see myself the way others see me.
The way my husband sees me.
The way my friends see me.
The way God sees me.
If Paisley hears me nagging at myself will she begin to do the same?
Because I think she is perfect.
When we constantly pick at our outer beauty it affects our inner beauty as well.
We were all made in the image of God and we are beautiful.
Maybe some of us carry more weight than others.
Maybe I have more freckles than you.
That’s what makes me, ME.
I should be thanking God for the way he made me.
I also hope that my inner beauty reflects on the outside as well.
We are all unique.
We are all different.
We are all beautiful.
I hope this post helps you if you are struggling with the way you have been seeing yourself lately.
