About this time one year ago I had just gone through 24 hours of labor with 2 more to go. I don’t remember absolutely everything about that night but I will always remember hearing her first cry and seeing the most beautiful little baby I’ve ever laid eyes on. She was finally here and she was all ours.
LOTS of thick black hair, blue eyes, dainty little feet & hands and the most gorgeous olive skin. For me, it was love at first sight. Besides Zack, I’ve never loved anything more~there is just something about a mother’s love that is unlike anything you will ever experience. Bringing a child into this world is phenomenal and raising her into a Godly young lady is my goal as a mom. We are blessed beyond measure.
I feel like this is a Cinderella tale because once the clock strikes 11:46, she will turn from baby to toddler. As I put her to bed tonight I know I am going to cry and Zack is going to have to reassure me that she will look and act the same in the morning LOL! Nevertheless, I am going to miss this stage so much. I feel like you can’t soak in there little phases of life enough. The time you have with them is so precious and it breaks my heart that not every child gets to experience that love and attention they thirst for. Love your babies with everything you have, they are one of God’s most precious gifts.
I have had a blast sharing Paisley’s little milestones with you on the blog and I know that this upcoming year will be even more fun in toddler life. I am amazed at how fast she’s grown, how smart she is, and THOSE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS! :)
I feel like the luckiest lady in the world. I have a wonderful loving husband, and the sweetest little girl. Life doesn’t get any better than that.
Happy Birthday, baby girl.
Your Mommy will always love you to Heaven & Back.
