Good morning, ladies! This is my second beauty favorites post for 2014. I wanted to share some of my favorite products with you once a month for this year and thought this little review would be a fun way for you to try new things. You can read my January favorites post http://farmgirlblogs.com/essays-on-genocide/.
This month I am mixing in hair, body, and facial products along with makeup. I am so excited to share some of the staples in my beauty routine that I use daily.
-The MoroccanOil is one of my favorite hair products. I have used this treatment for two years now and absolutely love it. It is a little pricey but I can use about one bottle for a whole year. It doesn’t take much at all. It makes my hair super smooth and is wonderful for my scalp.
–c. Booth Honey Almond Body Butter is great for dry skin and smells amazing. I got this sample from a gift bag when I last purchased makeup from Ulta. It is my go to lotion that I usually end up throwing in my purse when I am on the go.
–Clinique Take the day off is my all time favorite eye make up remover. I mentioned this product in my skin care routine last spring. I love how effortless and tug-less this goes on and takes off mascara and eye liner.
–Benefit It’s Potent Eye Cream is great for brightening dark circles under the eyes as well as providing moisture.
–Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer is my new favorite lip balm. I am a forever fan of BB and usually try everything they have. This is perfect for dry lips that provides great natural looking color. I have this color in peony.
-My favorite product this month is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup. I had a lot of questions about what foundation I use. I am in LOVE with how it clings to my face but doesn’t looked caked on. I’ve barely wore foundation for a year now and was really skeptical about using it. This product really makes a difference when putting on my makeup as well as my look.
I hope you enjoyed this month’s favorites post! If you try any of these, comment below and let me know how they worked for you. :)
