This beauty turns four today. F O U R!!! They say time flies when you become a parent and I never really believed it until Paisley became a big sister almost eight months ago. Then she just grew up in a blink of an eye. She is out of toddlerhood and all little girl. It breaks my heart and excites me all at once. This birthday has been the most emotional one for my mama heart. The thought that she starts school in the fall is overwhelming and way soon. She was just Scout’s size and all too fast she turns four years old today.
She loves horses, introduces her self as “Cowgirl Paisley”, enjoys playing rodeo in her room (you can hear her yell “yeeeehhhhaaaw!!” often from our kitchen), has a heart for animals, loves Jesus and her baby sister. Her favorite day would include riding her horse Bullseye and baking (and eating) chocolate chip cookies. She has more cowboy boots than I can count and believes that they should be paired with every outfit she wears, including pajamas. Some of her favorite toys are her toy story dolls (mainly jessie, woody, and bullseye) mom’s old dollhouse, her farm set, and barbies. Her favorite things to watch are The Pioneer Woman cooking show on Saturday mornings, Toy Story, Disney Princess movies, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Or any horse movie in general. :) She loves her dog Bear and already owns her own heifer, Rose.
I am in love with her contagious giggles, sweet kisses, and warm hugs. She can turn a really crummy day into the best one and I love our girl days getting pedi’s and riding horses together. Although she is a daddy’s girl, she is my little best friend and teaches me how to become a better mom, person and friend.
You light up a room every where you go and make me so, so proud. You made me a momma and I couldn’t imagine my life being any different. Your daddy and I love you with all of our heart and wish you the best day. I can’t wait to celebrate this afternoon with a cowgirl party. You will always be my baby girl and I’m pondering this age in my heart forever.
