essay authorsI love this quote.
Sometimes as a mom and small business owner, I feel like I’m not reaching my highest potential when it comes to doing something big and great in this world. I could have went to school longer. I could have gotten more credentials. I could spend all of my time doing something I don’t absolutely love as much as I do now. BUT, when I look at my girls, I see that I have one of the best and most important jobs there could ever be.
I’m a mom. I’m responsible for raising kind, loving, compassionate human beings. I’m in charge of molding someone who is going to change the world, who doesn’t feel owed or entitled. Someone who hustles, loves, and has a heart for others. Especially in today’s society, I feel like this is the kind of parenting and contribution that we should strive for.
Mom it up, ladies. Love on them, encourage them, let them know they can use their words and actions to speak + give life or death. Teach them kindness, show them grace because God gives it freely to us. Parenting is not an easy job but the best job when done well. Give it all you got and keep pressing in. I couldn’t imagine life without my little ladies and am so thankful to be there mama. I pray constantly for their little lives and that one day, my hard work will pay off and benefit not only them but whomever they come in contact with.
Happy Tuesday. 🌿
