We had our very first Supper Club Christmas party last night! Our group is something special and when we left last night, I told Zack how blessed we are with the friends we have. It’s a rare occurrence that a group blends this well. I’ve always had my girls but the way our hubbys get a long just as much (maybe too much lol) is really awesome. Their last Christmas before they get married! In six months we will be having a wedding! We had a competitive game of dirty Santa, chicken Alfredo for dinner, and many laughs. This is the Taylors and Griffiths last Christmas as two. Our group is expanding by two. <3 Can’t wait to love on these sweet babes.http://farmgirlblogs.com/essay-outline/ So many changes for us in 2017 and I can’t wait. Love these people with my whole heart.
Becca always knocks it out of the park with our cards and letters. I went with my shiplap addiction and carried it over to our cards this year. LOVE how they turned out. I wish I would have had the time to really write out some things on the letter but it’s been nuts and they were on the back burner this year. They just went out this week too. Better late than never, right?! I love doing these, it’s one of my favorite traditions each year.
2011 | newlyweds didn’t have money for cards ;)
This year we started a new tradition in our home. Before December 1st, I wrapped up 25 books and each night before bed, the girls pick one to read. It’s a fun way to count us down to Christmas. Some are new that I bought this year, some old that we’ve had, some really old that were even mine and my mom’s.I bought all of these pictured at my neighbors on main street who have the cutest little kids boutique called Wiggles to Wisdom. The girls have really had fun with this and look forward to their surprise at night. It makes us slow down and take time to be still with one another. I LOVE reading and hope to instill that in our babies.
What are some of your Christmas traditions?
