I am not into the mushy gushy love novels. Never have been. Until, I picked up this book….

Ree Drummond is hysterical! She had me laughing, she had me crying, she drew me into the book with the first couple of pages. She tells her love story and how she met her husband, “Marlboro Man” along into her first year of marriage. I frequent her blog daily and just love her stories, her photography, her RECIPES. This book was like an introduction for me into her life. I feel like I know her. Every time she posts I feel like I even know the people she is talking about. I could hug this woman. I think we could be best friends.
I love her creativity and humor. I like how she wrote throughout the book-making the reader feel like they were her best friend. She spoke from her mind and from her heart. I felt like she talked to me through the book like we were at dinner together-I just love when authors write that way.
So if you want a good laugh, a good tear, and a heartfelt read, go buy this book. :)
These cookbooks are also her works of art.
Everything in these two cook books are mouth watering and delicious. I love her step by step instructions along with pictures so you know what things should look like. A must have on the kitchen shelf. You can also catch her on the Food Network Channel on Saturday Mornings!
And if there are any mamas who’s kiddos love pups……meet their dog Charlie. She writes Children’s books too!
I bought one of them to go in Paisley’s book case because I just love Charlie.
I hope to meet her someday at a book signing….or even at the grocery store. Oklahoma isn’t that big after all. :)
