March flew by me. I am super late on getting a goals post up and terrible at blogging lately. I am hoping to have a few bumpdates posted as well as what we have been up to posts up soon.
I’ve really been convicted about how I spend my time lately and I’ve been trying to stay off social media, the computer, and even TV while I am home with my family. I’ve had some of the richest moments with Paisley and Zack and it has been a breath of fresh air. And, moments that are mine that I don’t feel like need to be shared with everyone but cherished by only me. You really don’t realize how much time you can waste by constantly checking social media. It isn’t worth it and all of those instagram photos you are sifting through? They will be there when you have “YOU” time. But still, you should spend more time with the Lord or read a book or something.
When I am saying this, I am talking to me. Or the old me, I guess. I never want to look back and think “wow, I had a lot of time on my phone and with technology but how did my girls grow up so fast?” because they will do that anyway before your own eyes. Life is a vapor.
Ok, off of my soapbox. :)
1. Clean out our spare room and start working on the nursery.
WE have made a TON of progress on the nursery and I can’t wait to finish it up within the next few weeks. Walls are painted, furniture is in, and we are starting to decorate. :)
2. Finish Paisley’s “Big Girl” room.
We are almost finished-just adding some decorative pieces!
3. Launch Farm Girl Boutique’s online store.
It launched and has been going well! Thank you all so much for the support. :)
4. Start a new Bible plan with She Reads Truth. 5. Start a workout/walking routine with a friend who is also expecting.
We haven’t exactly had a routine but have started walking together and it has been a lot of fun!
I shared this on our Farm Girl Facebook page but wanted to share it on the blog as well. Such truth and I just love Joanna! This world needs more Godly based business owners and spirit directed leaders. So much of her journey is like ours and I am so excited to see what he has planned for Farm Girl.
1. Finish decorating Paisley’s room.
2. Deep clean the house and declutter.
3. Put up Paisley’s swing set fort.
4. Get taxes finished and out of my hair.
5. Add shutters to the house.
6. Have my first prenatal massage.
7. Enjoy my baby shower!
What are your plans for the month?
