Friends I am so mentally exhausted! I think once I am finally in my house my stress levels may dissipate but for right now I am in a major need for some down time.
I cannot begin to describe how much I have learned in school so far. I passed my first section of school which was Long Term Care with an A and I have been through about 4 or 5 good weeks of A &P and Medical Terminology! We are on the downhill slide for those subjects and I am so thankful for that! It is insane how much I have learned and attained this past month!
I am so grateful for this learning experience and opportunity. Some days I feel as if my brain may explode but I have learned that you have to take each day at a time to soak in every small detail you possibly can. I have somewhat mastered studying skills I didn’t know I had and let me tell you they have nothing to do with all nighters. Those were killing me and leading me straight to rough school days and rocky test grades. Nothing was sticking and honestly I don’t know how people do it. Once I finally did studying intervals for an hour at a time and going to bed early and RESTING I did so much better and things just started to “click.”
One of my instructors found this photo for us to study when we were going over the bones and I thought it was so cool and creative!
I have been meaning to post this sweet little nursing school survival package on the blog for two weeks now. My gorgeous “soon to be mommy” friend Kaitlyn sent me a surprise gift in the mail the other day that brought me to tears. She must have known that I was having a hard week and it was exactly what I needed.
Her sweet note meant the most to me and I cherish our friendship so so much!
Cute Hair Ties
Earrings to Wear on a Night Out
Tissues for When I am Stressed and Sick (puting them to use now!)
Such a sweet and thoughtful gift! It is the little things that are such big things to my heart. Thank you again, Kaitlyn!!! Love you! :)
